Through the application form we collect: first and last name, date of birth, gender, nationality, current country of residence, country of application, selected job category, WhatsApp or phone number, email address, a description of previous work experience, passport number and passport expiration date.

We also collect an uploaded photograph of the passport information page. Basic technical information, such as a non-identifying hashed value used to prevent repeated automated submissions, may also be recorded.

3. How we use your information

Information is used only to evaluate your suitability for available employment opportunities, to contact you regarding your application, to verify identity and document validity, and to carry out the recruitment and placement process, including required employment and visa procedures.

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Passport documents and secure handling

Uploaded passport photographs are stored in a private storage location that is not publicly accessible and cannot be listed, browsed or opened by website visitors. Files are transmitted over encrypted connections.

Access is limited to authorised recruitment staff who need the document to process your application, and to service providers or authorities where required as part of a formal employment or visa procedure.

5. Who may access your data

Authorised personnel of WorkInIsrael, prospective employers considering your candidacy, and competent authorities or service providers involved in employment and visa procedures, in each case only to the extent necessary.

6. Retention

Application data and documents are retained only for as long as necessary to evaluate your application, complete a placement process, or comply with applicable legal and record-keeping obligations. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or securely archived.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the information we hold about you, ask that inaccurate details be corrected, withdraw your consent, or request deletion of your application and uploaded documents where no legal or procedural obligation requires us to keep them.

To make a request, contact us by email and include the name and contact details used in your application so we can locate it.
